Hamstreet to Paris -The Fitfactor!
In April this year, a group of inspiring people, all from the Hamstreet and Ashford area undertook a mommoth challenge in aid of KMSTC. The group, some of whom have friends and family with MS wanted to make a positive difference to the lives of people with MS by supporting the Centre's new building project. The group made the decision to cycle from Hamstreet Nr Ashford to Paris, take part in the Paris Marathon and cycle back again! Their fantastic efforts were rewarded when they were able to present the Centre with a cheque for £31,000. As a way of acknowledging the groups wonderful support, a presentation evening took place where certificates were presented to the team and their support crew, along with the Centre's own Gold Award Badge for outstanding voluntary contribution.
